Testimonials from Our Headteachers and Heads of School
As Headteacher of one of the primary schools in the Collective Community Trust - I have found the support from the central team invaluable and equally from all the other heads as well. Moving forward to be part of the Trust has been so positive and a brilliant new step for our school. We are looking forward to exciting times ahead. We hugely appreciate working together as a trust and making sure children are at the heart of everything we do. We also hugely value the importance of celebrating uniqueness - this is seen first hand in all of our schools as we are all different and special.
I feel privileged that my school is a founder member of the CCT. As central services have continued to shrink, leading schools has become more and more isolating and challenging. As part of CCT, there is always support available, whatever the need.
Having worked together for 8 Years prior to becoming a Trust, as part of a group of schools as the Beacon Alliance, we have developed strong relationships, at all levels offering opportunities to collaborate with staff at all levels, in turn leading to better opportunities for all stakeholders. At leadership level, there is security in knowing the advice given is evidence based, and staff have welcomed the chance to build strong and meaningful links with others of the same ethos in a non-judgemental way.
The determination to maintain each school’s unique character and attributes have further enhanced this through collaboration and the sharing of excellent practice-both of which have been appreciated by parents and leading to a high level of trust and support for the wider schools’ communities, allowing us to be part of a really special Trust. It is exciting to be at the start of this new, school led, Trust which is committed to enhancing life chances for all pupils, raising aspirations through celebrating all successes and supporting every member of the Trust Community to flourish.
Joining our Trust has been the logical next step for our school community in order to secure its future. The benefits of being part of a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive network of Beacon Alliance schools, and then the Collective Community Trust have far exceeded our expectations. As a headteacher, I've witnessed first-hand how the collaborative nature of the Trust fosters a strong sense of unity and shared purpose, valuing the skill set of each member. Schools within the Trust regularly exchange best practices, support one another, and engage in joint professional development, significantly enhancing the quality of education we provide.
Innovation is at the heart of our Trust's ethos. We are encouraged to think creatively and implement new teaching methods, ensuring our pupils receive a modern and forward-thinking education, with children at the heart of our decision making, at all levels.
Inclusivity is another cornerstone of our Trust. Every pupil, regardless of background or ability, is valued and given the opportunity to succeed. The Trust provides resources and support to ensure all pupils have access to high-quality education, promoting equity and diversity within our schools.
We are proud to be part of an education community that prioritises children through collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, ensuring the best outcomes for our pupils and families.
Being part of the Collective Community Trust enables our school to feel a part of a larger school family with like-minded staff. The vision of the school I lead aligns well with the Trust's vision of ‘Celebrating Uniqueness and Individuality.’ The Collective Community Trust encourages each individual school to flourish in their own right, whilst also ensuring strong collaboration enabling us to draw on the range of expertise. As the newly appointed Headteacher at Ribble Drive, becoming part of the Trust has provided me with valuable support in regards to effective leadership working with a range of leaders who have a shared ethos. We are able to work collaboratively, building links, bringing us together to ensure that our children can Be the Best That They Can Be.
As a recently appointed Head of School at Woodbank Primary, I feel so proud to be working within the Collective Community Trust. It is a privilege to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals from across our schools who are truly passionate about education. The Trust has provided me with the resources, guidance, and opportunities for professional development, allowing me to grow both personally and professionally within my new role.
One of the key aspects of being part of our Trust is the commitment to our values of collaboration, innovation and inclusivity through fostering a network of like-minded leaders and creating a supportive community that supports the children in our schools to thrive. Leaders share best practice, exchange ideas, and learn from one another, while also providing a safe environment where questions can be asked and support provided in the continuous drive for improvement.
